Job summary

MacLean Power Systems in Fort Mill, SC, seeks a Quality Manager for its Bossier City, LA plant. You will lead the Quality Department, drive a site-specific quality strategy, and manage supplier quality, CCAR, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires 5+ years in manufacturing with 2+ years in Quality leadership, ISO knowledge, and strong analytical skills. A BS in engineering or science is required; a plant leadership team role offers growth and impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science; mechanical/electrical preferred.
• 5+ years of manufacturing experience with 2+ years leading Quality in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience as a manufacturing or process engineer is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive Quality Strategy aligned with ISO 9001 standards.
• Lead the Quality Team with clearly defined requirements and professional development.
• Design and sustain a robust Quality Management System across operations.
• Establish internal quality controls, including metrology, inspection, and plant floor processes.
• Lead CAPA processes for customer complaints with root-cause analysis.
• Define and monitor KPIs; map process inputs/outputs and interdependencies.
• Collaborate with procurement to address supplier quality concerns.
• Coordinate internal, external, and customer audits for readiness.
• Provide strategic guidance through risk assessments (FMEA, control plans).
• Create and maintain documentation: SOPs, inspection/testing procedures, work instructions.
