Job summary

Ajulia Executive Search is assisting a steel fabrication facility in finding a Quality Manager to lead the QC team, uphold certifications, and drive continuous improvement in processes, safety, and product reliability. The role focuses on developing quality systems, supervising inspectors across shifts, coordinating audits (ISO/AISC) and ensuring compliance with AWS D1.1.

Strong leadership, analytical, and documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; 4+ years in steel fabrication quality management.
• AWS CWI certification (current or previous).
• ASNT SNT-TC-1A Level II certification in ultrasonic and magnetic particle inspection.
• Experience with ISO or AISC audits/certifications.
• Strong knowledge of AWS D1.1 Structural Welding Code.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to lead teams and work independently on projects.
• Proficiency in MS Office; ERP software experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, and develop QC staff; conduct training sessions.
