Job summary

ARCH Global Precision in the United States seeks a Quality & Safety Leader to own and continually improve quality and safety systems across the business unit, ensuring compliance with OSHA requirements and driving audits, CAPAs, and training programs.

You will oversee document control, management reviews, calibration, data analysis, and supplier qualification while partnering with HR and operations to foster a safety-oriented culture and support strategic planning and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent; experience in quality and safety systems.
  • Proven ability to implement and monitor quality and OSHA-related programs.
  • Experience with internal audits, CAPA, and management review processes.

Responsibilities

  • Internal expert/resource on all quality and safety systems implemented.
  • Lead audits and coordinate responses to findings and closures.
  • Maintain records for training, calibration, and performance against objectives.
  • Coordinate the management review process and document control.
  • Ensure OSHA compliance and post Form 300/300A annually.
  • Support HR with Workman’s Comp claims and safety training.

Summary

Own and continually improve Business Unit’s quality/business management and safety systems

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Internal expert/resource on all quality and safety systems implemented
  • Support, monitor and continually improve all quality and safety systems
  • Oversee all quality & safety audits, maintain records of the audit, and coordinate response/closure to findings
  • Quality representative for contract review process
  • Continually monitor training system and records
  • Maintain, monitor and report on performance against Quality Objectives
  • Coordinate the Management Review process
  • Own and continually improve compliance with all OSHA requirements
  • Complete form 300/300A and post as required annually
  • Monitor all safety issues identifying root cause and elimination of the risk
  • Support HR in the completion of Workman Comp claims
  • Train all employees on quality & safety procedures & monitor performance
  • Support a safety oriented culture within the company
  • Participate in the development of the company’s strategic planning, vision, mission and values and desired culture
  • Provide good feedback and promote good communication
  • Abide by and support all safety and quality system requirements

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent, previous experience preferred
Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
