Job summary

ARCH Medical Solutions in Bartlett, TN is seeking a Quality Inspector to ensure products meet in-house specifications and regulatory quality standards. Job description

  • Perform visual and dimensional inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished medical products to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
  • Utilize precision measuring tools and equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify part dimensions, tolerances, and surface finishes.
  • Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed records of quality inspections and test reports.
  • Identify and report non-conforming products or deviations from quality standards to appropriate personnel for investigation and corrective action.
  • Follow established inspection procedures, work instructions, and quality control plans to ensure consistency and accuracy in inspections.
  • Assist in the investigation of quality issues and participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities.
  • Support quality audits and inspections conducted by internal and external stakeholders (e.g., customers, regulatory agencies).
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality, operational efficiency, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and quality assurance guidelines to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or training in quality assurance or related field is a plus.
  • Previous experience in quality inspection or manufacturing environment is desirable but not required; recent graduates or individuals with relevant coursework are encouraged to apply.
  • Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and basic understanding of metrology concepts.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform accurate and consistent inspections.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation purposes.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or training in quality assurance, metrology, or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in quality control or inspection within a manufacturing environment, ideally in medical device manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with quality control methods, testing techniques, and inspection tools used in medical manufacturing (e.g., GD&T principles, statistical process control).
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
  • Proficiency in using measurement and testing equipment to verify product dimensions, tolerances, and performance.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform accurate and consistent quality inspections.
  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and report generation.
