Job summary

Beatrice Community Hospital in Beatrice, NE, seeks a Quality Manager (Registered Nurse) to lead patient care quality initiatives and data submission to CMS and external agencies. You will support accreditation readiness and drive performance improvement using Lean and FOCUS-PDSA methodologies.

The role requires an RN with an associate degree or diploma; a BSN is preferred. EPIC EMR experience is preferred, with Six Sigma Green Belt certification planned within 2 years.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree required; BSN preferred.
• Healthcare license preferred.
• CPHQ or similar certification preferred.
• EPIC EMR experience preferred.
• Six Sigma Green Belt certification within 2 years of hire.
• 2–3 years of healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Audits and collects clinical data for internal and external reporting.
• Submits data to CMS, accrediting bodies, and ACO as required.
• Supports accreditation readiness and performance improvement processes.
• Applies performance improvement tools such as FOCUS-PDSA and lean.
• Communicates quality and process improvement principles across the organization.

Education

Nursing Associate Degree or Diploma

Bachelor's Degree preferred

Quality Manager (Registered Nurse)

Job Duties: The Quality Manager collaborates in the delivery of quality safe patient care by auditing, collection and submission of clinical data. Abstracts and submits data internally and to external regulatory agencies, performance improvement organizations and Accountable Care Organization (ACO) as required. Supports CMS accreditation preparation and continuous readiness. Participate in the performance improvement process. Understands and demonstrates knowledge of tools and concepts of performance improvement such as FOCUS-PDSA and lean. Strives for efficiency and communicates quality and process improvement principles to others within the organization.

Qualifications: Nursing Associate Degree or Diploma required; Bachelors Degree preferred. Health care license preferred. Certification or willingness to pursue certification from a National Association (CPHQ, etc.) is preferred. Previous experience with Electronic Medical Record, EPIC experience preferred. Obtain six sigma green belt certification within 2 years of hire. 2-3 years experience in health care.

Shift Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm, no weekends or holiday requirements
