Job summary

United Future is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to lead a multi-site QA program across U.S. manufacturing locations. The role oversees laboratory quality, audits, and continuous improvement, reporting to site leadership and coordinating with quality teams.

You will manage analytical testing, validation of methods, instrument calibration, and CAPA processes, while guiding a Quality Coordinator and lab personnel. Regular travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related scientific discipline.
• 5+ years of QA/QC experience in industrial manufacturing or related processing.
• 2+ years of laboratory supervisory experience.
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor certification required.
• Experience with wet chemistry, physical materials testing, analytical instrumentation, and statistical process control.
• Willingness to travel regularly.
• ASQ CMQ/OE or CQE certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve ISO 9001 Quality Management System including document control and audit readiness.
• Lead third party registration and customer audits.
• Provide direction and training to laboratory and site quality personnel.

Our client, a manufacturer of specialty industrial materials, is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to lead its quality management system and laboratory quality across multiple U.S. manufacturing locations.

This role directly supervises a Quality Coordinator and provides functional leadership to site laboratory teams. The position combines quality systems ownership, analytical testing oversight, audit management, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the organization’s ISO 9001 Quality Management System, including document control, procedures, and audit readiness.
• Lead third party registration and customer audits.
• Provide direction, training, and support to laboratory and site quality personnel.
• Oversee physical and chemical testing of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
• Ensure analytical methods are validated and laboratory instruments are calibrated and maintained.
• Lead quality investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective and preventive action.
• Manage laboratory resources, budgets, and quality performance metrics.
