Top Echelon Software LLC is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to lead its QA/QC program across multiple U.S. manufacturing locations.

The role supervises a Quality Coordinator and provides functional leadership to site laboratory teams, overseeing testing, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives. The candidate will own the ISO 9001 Quality Management System, drive audit readiness, and manage lab resources and budgets while supporting cross-site quality performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of QA/QC experience in industrial manufacturing, chemicals, or specialty materials.
• 2+ years of laboratory supervisory or leadership experience.
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor certification required.
• Willingness to travel regularly.
• ASQ CMQ/OE or CQE certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve ISO 9001 QMS documentation and audit readiness.
• Lead third party registrations and customer audits.
• Provide direction, training, and support to lab and site quality personnel.
• Oversee testing of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
• Ensure analytical methods are validated and instruments calibrated.
• Lead quality investigations, root cause analysis, and CAPA.
• Manage laboratory resources, budgets, and quality metrics.

Our client, a manufacturer of specialty industrial materials, is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to lead its quality management system and laboratory quality across multiple U.S. manufacturing locations.

This role directly supervises a Quality Coordinator and provides functional leadership to site laboratory teams. The position combines quality systems ownership, analytical testing oversight, audit management, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the organization’s ISO 9001 Quality Management System, including document control, procedures, and audit readiness.
• Lead third party registration and customer audits.
• Provide direction, training, and support to laboratory and site quality personnel.
• Oversee physical and chemical testing of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
• Ensure analytical methods are validated and laboratory instruments are calibrated and maintained.
• Lead quality investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective and preventive action.
• Manage laboratory resources, budgets, and quality performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related scientific discipline.
• 5+ years of QA/QC experience in industrial manufacturing, chemicals, specialty materials, or a related processing environment.
• 2+ years of laboratory supervisory or leadership experience.
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor certification required.
• Experience with wet chemistry, physical materials testing, analytical instrumentation, and statistical process control.
• Willingness to travel regularly.
• ASQ CMQ/OE or CQE certification preferred.
