Talent With Heart is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to oversee ISO 9001 QA/QC across multi-site manufacturing. This remote role will supervise a Quality Coordinator and provide leadership to laboratory teams, ensuring compliant testing and method validation.

You will manage audits, CAPA, and quality metrics, with up to 50% travel to sites. A chemistry/engineering degree and 5+ years QA/QC experience, plus ISO 9001 auditing certification, are required.

• 5+ years of QA/QC experience in industrial manufacturing or related field.
• 2+ years of laboratory supervisory or leadership experience.
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor certification required.

Quality Assurance Manager – Multi-Site Manufacturing

Location: Remote (major city in Eastern US with airport access)
Travel: Up to 50%

Our client, a manufacturer of specialty industrial materials, is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to lead its quality management system and laboratory quality across multiple U.S. manufacturing locations.

This role directly supervises a Quality Coordinator and provides functional leadership to site laboratory teams. The position combines quality systems ownership, analytical testing oversight, audit management, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the organization’s ISO 9001 Quality Management System, including document control, procedures, and audit readiness.
• Lead third party registration and customer audits.
• Provide direction, training, and support to laboratory and site quality personnel.
• Oversee physical and chemical testing of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
• Ensure analytical methods are validated and laboratory instruments are calibrated and maintained.
• Lead quality investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective and preventive action.
• Manage laboratory resources, budgets, and quality performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related scientific discipline.
• 5+ years of QA/QC experience in industrial manufacturing, chemicals, specialty materials, or a related processing environment.
• 2+ years of laboratory supervisory or leadership experience.
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor certification required.
• Experience with wet chemistry, physical materials testing, analytical instrumentation, and statistical process control.
• Willingness to travel regularly.
• ASQ CMQ/OE or CQE certification preferred.
