Red Seal Recruiting Ltd. is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to lead ISO 9001 QMS and laboratory quality across multiple U.S. manufacturing sites. You will supervise the Quality Coordinator and guide QA/QC programs, audits, and continuous improvement.

The role involves managing testing of raw materials, in-process materials and finished products, ensuring methods are validated and instruments calibrated, and driving corrective actions. Regular travel and strong leadership are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related scientific discipline.
• 5+ years of QA/QC experience in industrial manufacturing, chemicals, specialty materials, or a related processing environment.
• 2+ years of laboratory supervisory or leadership experience.
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor certification required.
• Experience with wet chemistry, physical materials testing, analytical instrumentation, and SPC.
• Willingness to travel regularly.
• ASQ CMQ/OE or CQE certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead third party registration and customer audits.
• Provide direction, training, and support to laboratory and site quality personnel.
• Oversee physical and chemical testing of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.

• Lead quality investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective and preventive action.
• Manage laboratory resources, budgets, and quality performance metrics.

Location: Remote (major city in Eastern US with airport access)

Our client, a manufacturer of specialty industrial materials, is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to lead its quality management system and laboratory quality across multiple U.S. manufacturing locations.

This role directly supervises a Quality Coordinator and provides functional leadership to site laboratory teams. The position combines quality systems ownership, analytical testing oversight, audit management, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
