Job summary

CRP Industries in Cranbury NJ is looking for a Quality Manager to lead the quality function. You will manage QMS compliance (ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and drive continual improvement across QA, QC and supplier quality.

The role reports to the Corporate Quality Manager and requires collaboration with vendors to resolve quality issues. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in quality auditing, experience in distribution, and ASQ certification or equivalent.

Qualifications

• 4-year Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• 2 years experience as a quality auditor for ISO 9001 (preferred) and/or IATF 16949 or relevant work experience.
• ASQ Certification will be considered a plus.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, knowledge of Sharepoint is a plus.
• Import/Distribution industry experience required, Manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define structure, responsibilities, and procedures for implementing and coordinating the QMS per ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
• Quality planning: input into Planning systematic activities to provide confidence that products meet requirements.
• Quality Control: apply techniques to control processes and materials to fulfill quality requirements.
• Supplier Quality: monitor supplier performance and drive improvements; manage supplier return systems.
• Auditing: support internal audits and assist in third party audits to ensure QMS effectiveness.
• Continual Improvement: drive KPI-driven improvements to quality, with focus on customer satisfaction and cost reduction.
• Calibration & Maintenance: ensure measuring devices are calibrated and traceable to QMS standards.
• Test & Inspection: align testing and inspection with QMS requirements.
• Training: provide training on quality topics to production staff and suppliers.
