Job summary

Steves & Sons, Inc. seeks an experienced Quality Manager to lead and strengthen our quality management systems across manufacturing operations.

This onsite leadership role drives quality excellence, regulatory compliance, process improvement, and a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization. • 7+ years of progressive experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of quality systems, SPC, and audit procedures.
• Experience implementing Lean and/or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proven leadership experience managing teams in a production environment.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
• Experience in building materials or manufacturing industries is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the facility's Quality Management System (QMS).
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality standards, procedures, and controls.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and root cause analysis.
• Oversee internal and external audits and compliance requirements.
• Analyze quality data and KPIs to identify trends and implement CAPA.
• Manage customer complaints and ensure timely resolution through structured problem-solving.
• Partner with production and engineering teams to reduce defects and improve first-pass yield.
• Lead supplier quality initiatives and vendor performance reviews.
• Train and mentor quality team members to build internal capability.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and industry standards.

Quality Manager (Onsite) (Project Management)

Steves & Sons, Inc., a sixth-generation, family-owned door manufacturer with over 160 years of craftsmanship and innovation, is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead and strengthen our quality management systems across manufacturing operations.
This leadership role is responsible for driving quality excellence, ensuring regulatory compliance, improving production processes, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization.

Position Summary

The Quality Manager will oversee all aspects of quality assurance and quality control within the facility, including process standardization, audits, root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and cross-functional quality initiatives. This individual will work closely with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Executive Leadership to ensure product integrity, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the facilitys Quality Management System (QMS)
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality standards, procedures, and controls

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of quality systems, statistical process control (SPC), and audit procedures
• Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma methodologies
• Proven leadership experience managing teams in a production environment
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
• Experience in building materials or manufacturing industries is a plus
