Job summary

Crane Pumps & Systems seeks a Quality Manager to lead the Quality Management System and related operations, ensuring compliance with company, customer, and regulatory requirements. You will oversee supplier quality, inspections, corrective actions, audits, and warranty analysis while driving continuous improvement.

This role partners with cross-functional teams to reduce the cost of poor quality, enhance customer satisfaction, and support operational excellence through Core Tools such as APQP,

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum of three years of leadership, supervisory, or management experience.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
• Advanced knowledge of quality methodologies and quality planning tools including APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, MSA, SPC.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily activities of Quality Engineers, Inspectors, and quality personnel.
• Support maintenance and improvement of the QMS in ISO 9001 compliance.
• Lead internal audits and coordinate external audits with timely closure of findings.
• Promote quality culture and engage employees to improve quality, delivery, cost, and growth.
• Deploy APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, MSA, SPC and other Core Tools to improve product quality.
• Monitor process performance, drive reduction of variation, and improve process capability.
• Resolve customer and supplier quality issues using structured problem-solving methodologies.
• Coordinate containment for significant quality concerns and work with Operations to improve processes.
