Job summary

Lindar in Minnesota seeks a Quality Manager to move the organization toward operational excellence by improving process capability, reducing defects, and strengthening customer quality performance. This hands-on leader will coach teams on the production floor while establishing the systems and metrics needed for long‑term growth.

Responsibilities include driving quality strategy, ensuring audits and regulatory compliance, onboarding new customers, and leading continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Education in quality control/engineering or equivalent related experience.
• Lean Practitioner and/or Six Sigma Green Belt preferred but not required.
• 3–5 years of experience in a Quality leadership role.
• 5+ years in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience building or scaling quality systems in a growing manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading cross‑functional continuous improvement initiatives with measurable results.
• Strong knowledge of PPAP, APQP, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Ability to influence leaders and front‑line teams.

Responsibilities

• Creates and improves scalable quality systems to support growth and onboarding.
• Establishes quality strategy and roadmap aligned with business growth.
• Ensures audit readiness and regulatory compliance with the Quality Compliance Specialist.
• Oversees onboarding processes for new customer quality requirements.
• Performs testing and inspection of materials and products per specs.
• Partners with production leadership to meet PPM goals.
• Owns the QMS including CAR, PPAP, APQP, document control and change management.
• Uses data/metrics to identify trends and drive improvements.
• Communicates with customers to resolve quality issues professionally.
• Coaches leaders on quality expectations and continuous improvement.
• Assumes duties of Quality Control Technician in absence.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
