Job summary

Green Bay Packaging is seeking a Quality Manager to lead the quality management system for a pressure-sensitive label stock facility in Green Bay, WI. The role ensures materials, in-process products, and finished goods meet specifications and customer expectations.

You will drive CAPAs, audits, training, and cross-functional collaboration to improve quality and efficiency. The position reports to the Technical Director and requires on-site work with travel to customers/suppliers as needed

Qualifications

• BS. Degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in quality management in a manufacturing environment
• 5+ years in a leadership position with direct reports
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 compliance

Responsibilities

• Lead the Quality Team consisting of an Engineer, Claims Analyst, Specialist, Incoming Inspector, and 16 Technicians, setting expectations and providing performance feedback.
• Establish and oversee raw material incoming inspection activities and vendor claims and corrective action process.
• Manage daily operations of two QC laboratories; ensure testing is conducted and reported with accuracy and precision.
• Lead internal training on quality standards and expectations.
• Lead disposition decisions for nonconforming materials.
