Job summary

IEG Plastics is a supplier of precision plastic parts and assemblies for the automotive industry. The Quality Manager will lead the Quality staff, ensure customer satisfaction, and drive continuous improvement.

Reporting to the Plant Manager, the role includes developing training, managing QA processes, and maintaining ISO/IATF programs while collaborating with Production to meet delivery and quality targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 year college degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• ASQ certification a plus.
• ISO 9001 Certified Lead Auditor.

Responsibilities

• Manage Quality Staff including Quality Inspectors and Quality Technicians.
• Develop training for and train employees on quality processes.
• Create work instructions and operating procedures for new or changed processes.
• Champion document control system.
• Lead supplier control and development, including reporting.
• Program the CMM and Micro-VU and use various lab equipment.
• Track and report internal and external quality KPI’s.
