Job summary

KBR is seeking a Quality Manager (Contingency) to optimize project execution by ensuring services meet established quality standards, including reliability and performance. The role leads the development and implementation of quality management systems to ensure excellence, aligned with KBR's Zero Harm, Integrity and Teamwork values.

The position is contingent upon contract award. The successful candidate will oversee QM planning, corrective actions, documentation, audits, and data-driven

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering/quality or related field; 7–10 years in quality roles.
• Must understand ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards; proficient in data analysis and quality software.
• Preferred: Six Sigma Green Belt or higher; PMP or ISO/AS audits experience.

Responsibilities

• Establish and update the QM Plan with QMS policy, objectives, training and procedures.
• Implement corrective/preventive actions and process adjustments across operations.
• Maintain documentation: procedures, inspections, surveillance results, and CAPA records.
• Submit monthly Contractor Quality Inspection and Surveillance Report and support QA activities.
• Lead root cause analysis, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide training and guidance on quality standards and tools to staff.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and KBR policies; support proposals and contracts.
