Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent professional experience.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in quality engineering or quality management within a regulated, safety-critical product development environment.
• Proven ability to define and implement quality control processes for hardware build, assembly, and integration activities; including inspection and test planning.
• Experience leading or supporting ISO 9001 certification (Stage 1 and Stage 2 audits) is strongly preferred.
• Experience planning and conducting internal audits and managing CAPA programs.
• Strong knowledge of root cause analysis techniques (5 Why, 8D, Fishbone/Ishikawa).
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to produce auditable quality documentation.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation and continuous improvement of the Glydways Quality Management System in readiness for ISO 9001:2015 certification.
• Define and maintain supplier quality requirements and ensure flow-down through contracts and supplier agreements.
• Define and oversee quality control checkpoints for hardware build, assembly, and integration activities; own NCR process and 8D/CAPA activities.
• Establish formal design review gates with entry/exit criteria and oversee change management oversight.
• Ensure configuration management for hardware, software, and documentation is defined and traceable.
• Plan, schedule, and lead internal audits; track KPIs and facilitate lessons learned and quality improvements.
• Collaborate with Safety and Software teams to align software quality with the QMS.
