Job summary

Green Bay Packaging Inc. in Hunt Valley, MD is seeking a Quality Manager to lead our quality program in a manufacturing environment.

You will implement inspection and testing methods, serve as the technical resource for problem solving, and guide trials and first-time runs to improve processes. The role requires a BS in Quality, Engineering, or Science and at least 5 years in a leadership position with ISO9001/SQF knowledge.

Qualifications

• BS in Quality, Engineering, or Science.
• Experience as a Quality Manager, Supervisor or Technician in a manufacturing facility.
• Knowledge in ISO9001, SQF, 5S, Lean Manufacturing or six sigma.
• 5+ years in a leadership position with direct reporting relationships
• In-depth understanding of quality control procedures

Responsibilities

• Implement inspection, testing and evaluation methods to ensure compliance to company standards.
• Technical resource for trouble shooting and root cause analysis of internal and customer issues.
• Lead and transition processes under new customer approvals/transitions.
• Lead on continuous improvement and disposition of nonconforming materials.
• Document and monitor performance of quality management system to drive data-based decisions.
