Job summary

Camfil, a global leader in air filtration and clean air solutions, seeks a Quality Manager for its Crystal Lake, IL facility. You will develop and maintain an integrated quality system conforming to ISO 9001:2015, overseeing all quality activities, training programs, and customer-satisfaction initiatives.

The role requires strong leadership, project management, and hands-on execution to drive operational excellence in quality across the organization and its suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 5–7 years’ quality management experience.
• At least 5 years of quality management in a manufacturing environment.
• Solid knowledge of ISO 9001 standards.
• Strong statistics and geometry skills.
• Experience with ERP tools and processes.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
• Strong Lean/continuous improvement mindset.
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings.
• Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the Quality department and programs.
• Improve quality of outgoing products.
• Ensure effective communication of customer requirements and resolve concerns.
• Maintain quality of raw materials and products.
• Lead quality improvement projects and internal audits.
