Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required for consideration.
• Plant/Operations driven quality leader with strong root cause analysis.
• 2-3 years of quality leadership in a highly regulated environment.
• Experience with quality systems in regulated manufacturing (IATF-16949, AS9100).

Responsibilities

• Lead a department of 6 direct reports reporting to the Plant Manager.
• Own budget and financials for the quality department.
• Oversee plant quality function and collaborate cross-functionally.

Job description

We are representing a globally recognized FORTUNE 500 Industrial Manufacturing organization who is actively seeking a Quality Manager at their flagship operation. The Plant Manager is looking to begin the interview process ASAP!

POSITION OVERVIEW

• Candidate will report to the Plant Manager while leading a department of (6 direct reports) and having a strong working relationship with the Director of Quality
• Complete financial/budgetary ownership of department
• Candidate will assume ownership over both the plant quality function while working cross functionally with different department
• Provide direction and leadership consistent with company and business plan goals
• Maintain and develop strategic relationships with key suppliers and vendors
• Direct and drive the utilization of problem solving methods for related plant and customer issues
• Work closely with plant staff to development "HI-POT " talent
• Responsible for improving process efficiency through best practices, SOP's, and lean manufacturing

POSITION REQUIREMENT

• Bachelors Degree is required for consideration.
• Candidate should be a Plant/Operations driven Quality Leader with a strong background in Root Cause Analysis/Problem Solving
• Candidate should have at least 2-3 years of Quality leadership experience within highly regulated environment.
• Quality Systems experience in "highly regulated manufacturing environment" i.e. IATF-16949, AS9100, etc..
