Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is hiring a Quality Manager for our corrugated facility in Sheboygan, WI. You will join the plant leadership team and oversee quality processes, champion continuous improvement, and partner with operations, commercial teams, and customers to deliver products that meet specifications.

You will lead quality training, track performance, and ensure supplier materials meet specifications while safeguarding safety. This role offers growth across GP/Koch facilities.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in manufacturing quality and process improvement.
• RCA or Cause Mapping experience.
• Experience with managing customer relations via email, video calls, and onsite visits.
• Experience with quality management systems.
• Authorized to work permanently in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement to improve process control, quality, yields, and reduce defects.
• Lead quality process improvements within the facility.
• Interface with internal and external customers to ensure quality expectations are met.
• Lead quality training initiatives for employees.
• Champion Product Stewardship Food Safety process.
• Facilitate team meetings to improve the quality process.
• Manage Monthly Quality Report for Leadership Team.
• Assure vendors are meeting our material specifications.
• Track, monitor, and report to leadership and teams on quality performance.
• Be part of the leadership team that drives safety performance within the facility.
• Administer corporate computer systems involving plant floor data collection and customer complaints.
• Manage all measuring equipment to ensure GP compliance.
