Job summary

Hirebridge in Calera, AL is seeking a Quality Manager responsible for ensuring cement products meet plant, customer, and regulatory standards, coordinating production and sales to manage inventories. You will lead testing to established standards, report on quality, direct daily QC activities, and drive continuous improvement across the quarry to finish mills.

The role demands a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and at least 3 years in cement or related industries, with strong leadership and safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field required.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in cement or related industries.
• Proven ability to lead QA teams and coordinate with production and sales.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily QC activities and set quality targets from quarry to finish mills.
• Perform testing according to established quality standards and document results.
• Coordinate with Production to maintain product inventories.
• Implement laboratory standards and production targets to support cement manufacture.
• Train quality and production staff to meet customer expectations and DOT/ASTM standards.
• Communicate plant procedures and strategies clearly to all involved.
