A leading automotive plastics manufacturer is seeking a Quality Engineer to manage quality functions on the production floor, ensuring compliance with industry standards. This role involves performing inspections and collaborating with engineering personnel to maintain high-quality standards. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of quality management experience and be familiar with IATF and ISO standards. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential, along with a background in engineering.

Qualifications

• Must have prior experience in Quality management.
• Familiarity with automotive regulations like IATF 16949.
• Proficient in using statistical analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage quality functions including inspection and containment.
• Assist in various engineering requests related to quality.
• Provide statistical summaries and reports on quality metrics.

Skills

2+ years prior experience in Quality

Familiar with IATF 16949 & ISO 14001 standards

Proficient in math disciplines to solve equations used in applied statistics

Ability to interpret data, charts, and graphs

Proficient in computer software packages, databases, spreadsheets and word processing

Ability to work as part of a team

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering field or equivalent
