Job summary

United Future seeks a Quality Assurance Manager for an East TN high-volume manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate holds a BS degree in a technical discipline and has 5+ years in a Quality Manager role, preferably in Automotive QA.

The role leads a 10-person quality team and ensures IATF 16949 compliance while engaging with customers and plant leadership. Strong communication, analytical skills, and experience with 8D, 5Why, and FMEA are highly important.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent.
• Minimum 5+ years in a Quality Manager role, preferably in automotive.
• Experience implementing Automotive Quality systems.
• Experience leading a quality team and coordinating audits.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure IATF 16949 compliance and drive adherence across the plant.
• Design and implement quality systems and product audits.
• Lead a 10-member quality team to improve processes.
• Interact with customers and Plant Management to resolve issues.
• Utilize 8D, 5Why, FMEA and Root Cause Analysis for corrective actions.

Job description

East TN, high-volume manufacturing plant has immediate opening for a Quality Assurance Manager. Ideal candidate will have BS degree (in a technical discipline) along with at least 5+ years prior experience in a Quality Manager role.

Experience in Automotive Quality systems is ideal. The Quality Assurance Manager will ensure IATF 16949 compliance, and will also design Quality systems and product audits. Will lead a 10-member Quality team.

This is a highly visible role reporting to the Plant Manager. Must have strong communication skills as this role involves regular interaction with customers. Knowledge of 8D, 5Why, FMEA and Root Cause Analysis is highly important.

This is a fast-paced environment where Quality is held to a high-standard. The Quality Assurance Manager is a key member of the plant leadership team.
