Job summary

The Recruiting Hive seeks a Quality Assurance Manager for our East TN manufacturing site. The role will ensure IATF 16949 compliance, design and implement quality systems, and lead a 10-person quality team to uphold high standards in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication with customers and deep root-cause analysis skills are essential. Ideal candidates hold a BS in a technical field with 5+ years in a Quality Manager role, preferably with Automotive quality experience.

Qualifications

• BS degree in a technical discipline.
• At least 5+ years in a Quality Manager role.
• Automotive Quality systems experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills for customer interaction.
• Knowledge of 8D, 5Why, FMEA and Root Cause Analysis.

Responsibilities

• Ensure IATF 16949 compliance across the plant.
• Design quality systems and perform product audits.
• Lead a 10-member Quality team.
• Interact with customers regularly to ensure requirements are met.
• Report to Plant Manager on quality performance.

Job description

East TN, high-volume manufacturing plant has immediate opening for a Quality Assurance Manager. Ideal candidate will have BS degree (in a technical discipline) along with at least 5+ years prior experience in a Quality Manager role.

Experience in Automotive Quality systems is ideal. The Quality Assurance Manager will ensure IATF 16949 compliance, and will also design Quality systems and product audits. Will lead a 10-member Quality team.

This is a highly visible role reporting to the Plant Manager. Must have strong communication skills as this role involves regular interaction with customers. Knowledge of 8D, 5Why, FMEA and Root Cause Analysis is highly important.

This is a fast-paced environment where Quality is held to a high-standard. The Quality Assurance Manager is a key member of the plant leadership team.
