East TN, high-volume manufacturing plant seeks a Quality Assurance Manager with a BS in a technical discipline and 5+ years in a Quality Manager role. Automotive quality systems and IATF 16949 experience preferred; will lead a 10-person team and report to Plant Manager.

You will design quality systems and product audits, maintain strong customer communications, and apply 8D, 5Why, FMEA, and root cause analysis to drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

East TN, high-volume manufacturing plant has immediate opening for a Quality Assurance Manager. Ideal candidate will have BS degree (in a technical discipline) along with at least 5+ years prior experience in a Quality Manager role.

Experience in Automotive Quality systems is ideal. The Quality Assurance Manager will ensure IATF 16949 compliance, and will also design Quality systems and product audits. Will lead a 10-member Quality team.

This is a highly visible role reporting to the Plant Manager. Must have strong communication skills as this role involves regular interaction with customers. Knowledge of 8D, 5Why, FMEA and Root Cause Analysis is highly important.

This is a fast-paced environment where Quality is held to a high-standard. The Quality Assurance Manager is a key member of the plant leadership team.
