Job summary

Pen Manufacturing seeks an experienced Quality Manager to lead QA and QC in its contract manufacturing operations focused on sheet metal fabrication and CNC machining. The role develops and maintains robust QMS, ensuring products meet internal specs and customer expectations while complying with AS9100 and ITAR.

Responsibilities include leading audits and CAPA, supervising inspectors, data-driven reporting, and continuous process improvement using Lean/Six Sigma tools.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of quality management in contract manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of AS9100 and ITAR.
• Proficient in reading blueprints and GD&T.
• Experience with CAPA and audits.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain QMS aligned with AS9100.
• Ensure compliance with customer specs and regulatory requirements (AWS, ASME, ITAR).
• Lead root cause analysis and CAPA processes.
• Manage quality documentation, NCRs, and traceability.
• Lead internal and external audits and supplier quality.
