Job summary

Giga Energy is seeking a Quality Manager to own the full quality value chain across supplier locations in Mexico and to build the QMS from the ground up. Located onsite in Los Angeles, you will lead audits, ensure UL/NECA/NEMA and customer-specific compliance, and drive supplier quality improvements while leading a growing team.

The role requires 5+ years in quality within electrical/manufacturing, ASQ CQE or Six Sigma, PFMEA and control plans, and strong cross-functional leadership in a

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or a related technical field.
• 5+ years in quality engineering/management in electrical, power, or industrial manufacturing.
• Solid understanding of UL 891/67 or equivalent LV switchgear/panelboard standards.
• Experience managing supplier quality in international CM environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a ISO 9001-compliant QMS and quality policies.
• Lead internal and external audits and certification efforts.
• Interface with UL Compliance Officers and third-party agencies.
• Manage supplier qualification, PPAP-like documentation, and SCAR processes.
• Lead root cause analysis and 8D for internal and field issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve quality KPIs.
