Job summary

Giga Energy is seeking a QA/QC Manager to own the quality program for data center construction from foundation to turnover. You will act as the last line of defense, ensuring all work meets design specs, codes, and client expectations, on-site and in the field.

You will develop the quality plan, manage ITPs, coordinate third‑party inspections, and drive accountability across subcontractors. This role demands hands-on leadership and a culture of quality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of QA/QC experience on commercial, industrial, or mission‑critical construction projects.
• Experience developing and executing ITPs and managing NCR/deficiency tracking.
• Strong knowledge of construction drawings, specs, and building codes (IBC, NEC, ASHRAE).
• Experience coordinating third‑party and special inspections with AHJ requirements.
• Proficiency in maintaining quality documentation packages for project turnover and closeout.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage the site‑specific QA/QC program for data center construction projects.
• Create and execute ITPs across trades including civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, life safety, and plumbing.
• Conduct field inspections to verify conformance with drawings, specs, and codes.
• Review and approve subcontractor quality plans and material submittals.
• Manage NCR process: identify deficiencies, issue NCRs, track actions, verify resolution.
• Coordinate third‑party inspections and testing.
• Maintain QA/QC documentation and as‑built markups.
• Support design reviews to identify constructability issues and quality risks.
• Assist in commissioning and turnover by ensuring complete documentation.
