Zing Recruiting, in partnership with a leading automotive manufacturer, seeks a Direct Hire Quality Manager to lead plant-wide quality initiatives in McCalla, AL.

You will oversee process, supplier, and customer quality, maintain IATF/TS16949 systems, drive 8D problem solving, PFMEA, SPC/SQC, and APQP across new model launches, with a clear path to long-term career growth and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive manufacturing; Tier 1 preferred.
• Experience with APQP, PFMEA, SPC/SQC, and 8D problem solving.
• Strong leadership across supplier quality, process quality, and customer quality.
• Ability to work directly with OEMs on claims and audits.

Responsibilities

• Lead the entire quality organization (process, supplier, inspection teams).
• Own and maintain IATF/TS16949 quality systems.
• Drive root cause analysis (8D, 5 Why) and corrective actions.
• Manage customer claims and OEM relationships.
• Lead APQP / new model launches.
• Oversee PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC/SQC, and MSA.
• Support line-side process improvements and assembly quality optimization.

Zing Recruiting, in partnership with a leading manufacturer in the automotive industry, is seeking a Direct Hire Quality Manager to join their team! Job Summary

Pay: $80,000 - $107,000 (based on experience)
Shift: Day shift, Monday - Friday (occasional weekend and late hours as needed)
Location: McCalla, AL

As the Quality Manager, you will oversee process quality, supplier quality, final inspection, and customer quality issues (OEM interface), while being responsible for plant-wide quality systems and team leadership. This is a full-scope plant quality leadership role, not just a functional engineer. Direct Hire opportunity, meaning you'll be employed directly with the company, offering long-term career stability and growth potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead entire quality organization (process, supplier, inspection teams)
