Job summary

CSP in Baltimore is seeking a Quality Manager to lead the Quality department and ensure compliance with APQP, PPAP, MSA and IATF16949 requirements. You will drive KPI reporting, supplier quality, and internal/external corrective actions while partnering with engineering and plant leadership.

Responsibilities include establishing standards, directing lab and testing activities, and chairing quality reviews to improve production and safety performance. Bachelor’s degree required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required in a related field.
  • Experience leading quality teams in a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with IATF16949 and related quality systems.

  • Establish and maintain product Quality Standards.
  • Track external customer Quality issues, i.e., concerns, rejections, PPM, and 8D problem solving.
  • Track internal customer Quality issues, i.e., Rejection Tags and Process Alerts.
  • Track supplier Quality issues and performance.
  • Work with Engineering to develop project launch strategy and timing for APQP/PPAP/MSA.
  • Represent Carey plant at the customer in the area of Quality.
  • Manage safety as an equal to other key functions.
