Job summary

Xiphias Cambridge, a complete-to-print contract manufacturer serving aerospace, medical, and robotics, seeks a Quality Manager to lead QA across the production lifecycle.

You will manage a team of quality engineers and inspectors, maintain the QMS, and drive process improvements. Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and certification bodies to sustain ISO, AS9100, Nadcap compliance.

This is a hands‑on leadership role with opportunities to influence product quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5+ years supervisory/management experience or 10+ years sector-specific experience.
  • Ability to analyze drawings, specifications, and SPC/Cpk data.
  • Ability to distill requirements into form, fit, function, and action.
  • Ability to analyze manufacturing processes to identify root causes and corrective actions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, improve, and maintain the Quality Management System for continued effectiveness.
  • Manage a team of quality engineers and inspectors.
  • Oversee flow of work through the QC department, including inspection.
  • Organize, promote, and manage companywide quality improvement efforts.
  • Work with customers, vendors, certification bodies on QMS issues.
  • Oversee APQP activities; prepare/submit PPAPs/FAIs.
  • Manage QC work instructions creation, implementation, and maintenance.
  • Manage RMA and internal MRB processes.
  • Lead investigations and corrective actions for quality issues.

Xiphias Cambridge is a complete to print, contract manufacturer serving the world’s leading aerospace, medical, and robotics companies. We supply casting, machining, assembly, and finishing to customers seeking aluminum & zinc components.

We are looking for a Quality Manager who will be a critical part of our management team and have a tangible effect on the success of the business.

The Quality Manager is responsible for all quality assurance functions throughout the manufacturing process and post-manufacturing support. The Quality Manager serves as a leader in the business, working closely with all internal departments and external customers.

Key responsibilities:
  • Manage, improve, and maintain the Quality Management System for continued effectiveness.
  • Manage a team of quality engineers and inspectors.
  • Manage the flow of work through the QC department, including inspection.
  • Organize, promote, and manage companywide quality improvement efforts.
  • Work directly with customers, vendors, certification bodies, etc. on issues related to the QMS.
  • Within manufacturing facility, oversee APQP activity. Prepare and submit PPAPs/FAIs.
  • Manage the preparation, implementation, and maintenance of Quality Control work instructions.
  • Manage RMA and internal MRB processes.
  • Lead investigations and corrective actions related to quality issues/concerns.

Qualifications
