Partner closely with the Sr. Quality Manager and Thomasville Operations Director, collaborating across the Thomasville team to drive quality excellence and achieve key business objectives.### The Quality Manager is accountable to support the quality needs of the Thomasville campus operations. This is an on-site position. Typical hours would be 7:30 to 4:30.### ### This is a fully on-site position based at the Thomasville, GA campus. Standard working hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.### Responsibilities: Five Direct Reports* ### Data & Reporting: Collect, analyze, and report Customer DPD (Defects per Delivery), Supplier PPM (Parts per Million), COPQ (Cost of Poor Quality), & NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports)* ### Team: Lead and manage a team using the MDI (Manage for Daily Improvement) process, providing guidance, feedback, and support* ### Root Cause Analysis: Champion the 8-Step problem solving process* ### Customer Focus: Understand customer needs and incorporate feedback into processes* ### Non-Conformance Reporting: Manage the NCR process* ### Supplier Management: Monitor supplier performance and lead root cause analysis* ### Drawing Improvement: Partner with Engineering to track and resolve drawing improvements (ECMs)* ### Quality System: Design and implement quality procedures and standards* ### ISO 9001: Lead the Thomasville location to ISO 9001 certification* ### Documentation: Maintain Quality records, reports, and procedures* ### Quality Checks: Implement any relevant Quality checks and measures (PPAP, etc.)* ### Quality RMAs: Manage Quality customer returns* ### Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives to improve Quality* ### Culture: Exemplify behaviors to be inspired to innovate, empowered to lead, and accountable to deliver* ### Other duties as assigned### High Impact Behaviors:* ### Servant-Leadership personality required* ### Ability to hear and listen required* ### Ability to focus on strategic initiatives while managing tactical issues required* ### Ability to clearly communicate in various working relationships required* ### Ability to problem solve, develop, and effectively implement RCCA required* ### Ability to read and comprehend blueprints with GD&T experience required* ### Quality inspection and auditing experience required* ### Ability to create/revise Quality documentation to ISO 9001 standards required* ### Ability to travel required### Qualifications:* ### BS Degree in Engineering or Science field required* ### ISO 9001 or equivalent experience required* ### 5+ years of Quality Manufacturing experience required* ### 5+ years of Quality Management experience preferred* ### Certifications an advantage including Certified Quality Auditor, Quality Engineer, and/or Six Sigma Green Belt### ### Xylem does not provide visa sponsorship for this position### ### The estimated salary range for this position is $90,000 to $130,000 plus bonus. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
