Emerald Technologies in Salem, NH is seeking a Quality Manager to lead the Quality Department, drive continuous improvement, and partner with cross-functional teams to meet quality, operational, and customer satisfaction objectives.

You will own the QMS, manage audits and CAPA, monitor KPIs, and develop Quality personnel while ensuring compliance with ISO 9001/13485, AS9100, IPC standards, ITAR, and other requirements.

Formación

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related technical discipline is preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment is required, preferably electronics, aerospace, defense, or medical device products.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of management experience in manufacturing is required; leading a quality team preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001/13485, AS9100, IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, control plans, FMEAs, and QMS.
  • Experience leading audits, corrective actions, supplier quality initiatives, and compliance with standards is strongly preferred.
  • Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and NADCAP experience are a plus.

Responsabilidades

  • Lead and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure compliance with ISO 9001/13485, AS9100, IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, ITAR and other requirements.
  • Establish, monitor, and report Quality Department KPIs and drive continuous improvement and CAPA initiatives.
  • Partner with Production, Supply Chain, Program Management, and other teams to improve processes and meet customer requirements.
  • Manage internal audits, CAPA programs, document control, calibration systems, change management, and QMS reporting to senior leadership.
  • Lead and develop Quality personnel, host audits, oversee supplier qualification, and maintain training and certifications.

The Quality Manager leads the Quality Department, drives continuous improvement initiatives, and partners cross-functionally to ensure quality, operational, and customer satisfaction objectives are consistently achieved.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance withISO 9001/13485, AS9100, IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, ITAR, and other applicable customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Establish, monitor, and report Quality Department KPIs, driving continuous improvement initiatives and corrective actions to achieve quality and business objectives.
  • Partner with Production, Supply Chain, Program Management, and other cross-functional teams to improve processes, resolve quality issues, and ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Manage internal audits, CAPA programs, document control, calibration systems, change management activities, and QMS performance reporting to senior leadership.
  • Lead and develop Quality personnel, host customer and registrar audits, oversee supplier qualification activities, and ensure required training and certifications are maintained.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related technical discipline preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment required, preferably supporting electronics, aerospace, defense, or medical device products.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of management experience in a manufacturing environment required; preferably leading a quality team.
  • Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001/13485, AS9100, IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, control plans, FMEAs, and quality management system (QMS) required.
  • Experience leading audits, corrective action programs, supplier quality initiatives, and compliance with customer, regulatory, and industry standards strongly preferred.
  • Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities; Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and/or NADCAP experience preferred.
