Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division seeks a Quality Manager for its Arden, NC facility. You will lead the plant’s quality team within an engineer-to-order environment and report to the Plant Manager. Relocation assistance is offered; salary range $130,000–$190,000 with incentive eligibility.

You will drive continuous improvement, manage the QMS, and monitor quality metrics across customer, supplier and internal processes to ensure top quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of quality experience in manufacturing.
• Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct quality personnel and prioritize quality functions of the plant.
• Manage the quality management system including ISO 9001 program activities.
• Lead strategic quality improvement projects; deploy EQMS tools to achieve plant objectives.
• Interface with customers to explain plant quality systems and expectations.
• Plan and manage Training on the Quality Management System.

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a Quality Manager. The position will be based at our facility in Arden, NC. We are offering relocation assistance for candidates who reside within the U.S.The expected annual salary range for this role is $130000 - $190000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.What you’ll do:The Quality Manager is part of the Senior Leadership Team at the Asheville plant reporting into the Plant Manager. They will oversee plant Quality Goals, maintain and drive a culture of continuous improvement. Deploy the applicable elements and initiatives of EBS tools (EQMS) to accomplish plant objectives. This role is supporting a engineer to order (ETO) manufacturing environment.Responsible for customer satisfaction through our Quality System; accountable for quality performance by monitoring Quality related metrics, conducting Quality Assessments and driving RCCA through quality.Plan, develop and manage the Operations, Inspection, Testing, Customer, Supplier, and QMS Quality Team.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSDirect quality personnel and prioritize quality functions of the plant.Manage the preparation, implementation, and maintenance of a quality management system to comply with the published plant QA manual.Develop and implement strategic projects to continually improve the overall quality of product, information and service.Interface with customers both in the plant and external to enhance their perception and understanding of the plant quality systems.Develop, coordinate, and implement training programs relative to the Quality Management System.Develop quality control documentation for production, (Quality Control Plan, Inspection Records, etc.), and ensure the implementation of the quality documents.Manage all ISO 9001 program activities including being the primary plant representative and authority on ISO9001 requirements and the primary contact to external ISO auditors.Analyze and report all quality performance indicators: CONC, Warranty charges/PPM, DPU, final audits, etc.For Customer Complaints, is responsible for all containment actions and leading the problem solving CAPA teams for root cause analysis evaluation and implementation of corrective and preventive actions at the manufacturing processes.Accountable to performance of QA duties and has the authority to take the necessary actions to resolve any quality issue.Qualifications:Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.Minimum of 7 years of Quality experience in a manufacturing environment.Minimum of 3 year of leadership experience, such as Project Management, Product or Process Improvement/Implementation or manager of people.Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
