Job summary

Agave Wire is seeking a Quality Manager to lead the quality assurance and control functions and ensure products meet the highest standards. You will develop, implement, and maintain QMS in line with ISO 9001, oversee QA/QC processes, and drive continuous improvement with cross-functional teams.

You will mentor the quality team, conduct internal audits, support customer and supplier audits, lead investigations into complaints and RMAs, and prepare senior management quality performance reports

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or related field.
• 7+ years of work experience in Quality.
• 3+ years of supervisory/managerial experience.
• Experience with ISO 9001 and quality management in manufacturing.

Agave Wire is looking for a Quality Manager to lead and oversee the company's quality assurance and control functions. In this role, you will ensure that our products consistently meet the highest standards of quality. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality systems, conducting audits and inspections, and working with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.

WHAT we need you to do.

• Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of the company's Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 requirements.
• Oversee the quality assurance and control processes to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and customer expectations.
• Manage and mentor the quality team, providing guidance, training, and support.
• Conduct internal audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure product quality.
• Support customer, supplier, and other third-party audits.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure inspection and testing requirements are established and maintained for applicable products.
• Lead investigations of customer complaints, RMAs, and field quality concerns.
• Manage corrective actions and verify effectiveness.
• Analyze data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement in product quality and manufacturing processes.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, certifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and present quality performance reports to senior management.
• Lead ISO certification programs.
• Other job duties as assigned.

WHAT you need to possess.

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or related Engineering field
• 7+ years of work experience in Quality
• 3+ years of supervisory/managerial experience
• Sound problem-solving, decision-making, and interpersonal skills to address quality issues and drive improvements.
• Experience with industry standards and certifications related to quality management in manufacturing.
• Detail-oriented with excellent planning and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team to achieve quality goals.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with experience in quality management software a plus.
