Job summary

LeoForce is seeking a Quality Director for an onsite role in Richardson, TX. You will lead the Quality function and oversee QMS development, implementation, and continuous improvement to meet defense and industrial standards.

Responsibilities include audits, QA/QC leadership, training program development, and managing a small team of exempt-level quality professionals. You will collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and operations to sustain top-tier product quality.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in quality management, quality assurance, and quality control within a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Deep, hands-on knowledge of AS9100.
  • Prior defense, DoD, aerospace, or similarly regulated manufacturing experience is strongly preferred.
  • Previous experience managing a small team of exempt-level employees.
  • Strong background conducting quality audits and improving internal processes and systems.
  • Experience developing and leading training initiatives.
  • Knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements and industry quality standards.
  • Experience in precision manufacturing, optical systems, or a similar technical environment is preferred.
  • Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field is required.
  • Advanced degrees and relevant quality certifications are a plus.

Role Description

This is a full-time, onsite position located in Richardson, Texas. The Quality Director will lead the company's quality function and oversee the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of its quality management systems.
