Job summary

Daniels Manufacturing Corporation in Orlando, FL is seeking a Quality Manager to lead the Quality Team and drive strategic initiatives across the organization.

You will champion AS9100D and ISO 9001 compliance, oversee QMS, mentor staff, and partner with suppliers to improve processes and product quality. This role offers growth in a family-oriented, engineer-led environment with exposure to advanced manufacturing technologies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of Quality Management experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Expert knowledge of AS9100D and ISO 9001 quality standards.
  • Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Experience leading corrective actions, root cause analysis, quality systems, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience interpreting engineering drawings, GD&T, and applying quality control methodologies in a precision manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Quality team, aligning departmental objectives with company goals.
  • Maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System in compliance with AS9100D, ISO 9001, customer, and regulatory requirements.
  • Establish, monitor, and drive performance against key quality metrics and continuous improvement initiatives; lead, coach, and develop the Quality team.
  • Lead supplier quality programs, corrective actions, root cause investigations, and quality improvement efforts.
  • Serve as the organization's quality subject matter expert, supporting audits, inspection processes, metrology systems, and customer quality requirements

What Value This Role Will Bring

The Quality Manager will play a critical role in driving the continued evolution of DMC's Quality Department through leadership, strategic development, and process optimization. This leader will establish a clear vision for quality across the organization, creating scalable processes, strengthening quality systems, and enhancing overall manufacturing performance. By developing and mentoring the Quality team, this individual will foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and excellence while ensuring compliance with AS9100 and ISO standards. The Quality Manager will serve as a strategic partner across the business, leveraging data, technology, and quality best practices to improve efficiency, reduce risk, and support DMC's long‑term growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Quality team, aligning departmental objectives with company goals
  • Maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System in compliance with AS9100D, ISO 9001, customer, and regulatory requirements
  • Establish, monitor, and drive performance against key quality metrics and continuous improvement initiativesLead, coach, and develop the Quality team through regular feedback, training, and succession planning; build accountability and influence a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
  • Lead supplier quality programs, corrective actions, root cause investigations, and quality improvement efforts
  • Serve as the organization's quality subject matter expert, supporting audits, inspection processes, metrology systems, and customer quality requirements
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of Quality Management experience within a manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA or advanced technical degree
  • ASQ certifications (CQE, CQM/OE, or similar)
  • Aerospace, defense, or highly regulated manufacturing industry experience

Pay Range: $110,000 – $150,000
