Job summary

Atlas Evaluation & Inspection Services (AEIS) llc is seeking a Quality Manager to develop and implement quality plans for construction projects. The ideal candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in quality management.

You will supervise QA/QC staff, ensure compliance with various agency specifications, and prepare necessary documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Need Transit and Rail experience (MTA, NJ Transit, etc) but Amtrak experience is a plus.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction quality management or a related role.

Position Overview — ConstructionQualityManager

QualityManager: TheQualityManageris responsible for developing and implementing theQualityPlan and for the management and oversight of allQualityissues. Certification inQualityManagement from the American Society forQuality(ASQ) or the American Society of Civil Engineers, or other demonstrated relevant experience. Demonstrated experience inqualitymanagement activities is required.

What You’ll Do

QualityOversight & Compliance

• Develop and implementQualityPlans per DOT and agency-specific protocols
• Monitor site QA/QC activities including inspection, materials testing, and corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with NYSDOT, NYCDOT, NJDOT, NYS Thruway Authority, and similar agency specifications

Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare inspection reports, progress logs, audit checklists, andqualitydocumentation
• Ensure contractor submittals andqualityprocedures meet approval requirements
• Leadqualityaudits and agency-facing documentation reviews

Team Leadership & Collaboration

• Supervise QA/QC staff across field inspection and testing disciplines
• Coordinate with client reps, constructionmanagers, and AEIS engineers
• Represent AEIS in progress meetings andqualitybriefings

What We're Looking For

Must Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Need Transit and Rail experience (MTA, NJ Transit, etc) but having Amtrak experience is a plus

Bonus Points

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in constructionqualitymanagement or a related role.
• Proven experience in managingqualitycontrol on large-scale construction projects.
• Civil engineer or a mechanical engineer with bridge construction background

Salary Range: $60-65/hr. This range is based on national market data and may vary widely by experience and location.
