Job summary

HT Global Circuits is seeking a Quality Manager to maintain the Quality Management System and drive continuous improvement across US facilities and offshore partners. You will lead Quality Engineers, coordinate audits, and ensure adherence to ISO 9001, AS9100, and IPC standards.

You will monitor quality performance, mentor teams, and collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Supply Chain to reduce defects and strengthen supplier quality across the global network.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of manufacturing quality experience.
  • Experience with ISO 9001; AS9100 experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong root cause analysis and corrective action skills.
  • Experience leading or developing quality engineers.
  • Supplier quality experience preferred.
  • PCB manufacturing experience and IPC standards knowledge preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline preferred; equivalent relevant experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System to ensure compliance with ISO 9001, AS9100, customer requirements, and applicable industry standards.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits, corrective actions, Management Review, and quality-related training.
  • Ensure quality procedures accurately reflect current processes and are practical and effective.
  • Work with factory Quality Engineers and manufacturing teams to improve yield and reduce scrap, rework, and customer defects.
  • Monitor quality performance and identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead and coach structured root cause analysis and corrective action using tools such as 8D, 5-Why, Fishbone, SPC, and FMEA.
  • Ensure corrective actions address root causes and are effective in preventing recurrence.
  • Support improvements to process controls, inspection standards, and manufacturing procedures.
  • Lead the Supplier Quality Engineering team supporting offshore PCB manufacturing partners.
  • Monitor supplier quality and service performance through scorecards, defect trends, complaints, corrective actions, and other performance measures.
  • Work with suppliers and Supplier Quality Engineers to resolve recurring problems and implement preventive improvements.
  • Conduct or coordinate supplier audits, corrective-action verification, and supplier development activities.
  • Support qualification and evaluation of new manufacturing partners.
  • Provide direction, priorities, coaching, and development for the Quality Engineers supporting domestic manufacturing and offshore suppliers.
  • Ensure customer complaints are investigated promptly and corrective actions are completed effectively.
  • Work cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Customer Service to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence.
  • Promote a culture where quality and continuous improvement are owned throughout the organization.

General Summary

The Quality Manager is responsible for maintaining an effective Quality Management System and driving continuous improvement in product, manufacturing, and supplier quality. This position leads quality activities across our U.S. manufacturing facilities and offshore PCB manufacturing partners, working through Quality Engineers located at the factories and in Asia.

Key Responsibilities
Quality Systems & Compliance

  • Manage document control, including procedures, work instructions, forms, and quality records.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits, corrective actions, Management Review, and quality-related training.

Manufacturing Quality
  • Work with factory Quality Engineers and manufacturing teams to improve yield and reduce scrap, rework, and customer defects.
