Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Quality Manager for a world-class precision machining and mechanical assemblies leader in the Menomonee Falls area. The role leads a quality team, drives continuous improvement, audits, and preventive actions to ensure parts meet exact tolerances.

Salary ranges from $100,000 to $125,000 per year with a comprehensive benefits package. The successful candidate will oversee quality processes and collaborate with major clients across North America.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in quality/manufacturing in high-precision machining environment.
• Strong ISO 9001 understanding and certification upkeep.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enforce production, quality, and customer service standards across the facility.
• Identify risks via root cause analysis and preventive actions.
• Conduct internal/external quality audits and report findings for compliance.
• Build and coach a high-performing quality team; provide technical training.
• Drive continuous improvement through structured quality systems and actions.
• Engage with partners/clients to obtain feedback and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee QC processes to ensure parts meet tight tolerances and standards.

Job Details

Responsibilities

• Develop standardized production, quality, and customer service standards across the manufacturing facility
• Identify potential risks before they become a problem, focusing on root cause analysis and preventive action
• Perform internal and external quality audits and compile detailed reports of findings to maintain compliance
• Build a strong quality team through proactive coaching, mentoring, specific technical training, and performance evaluations
• Proactively improve corporate quality systems through internal audits and participation in structured process improvement programs
• Interact with key partners and clients to obtain constructive feedback and drive corrective actions
• Oversee quality control processes to ensure all parts are manufactured within strict specified tolerancesMaintain rigorous adherence to international quality standards and certification requirements

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant machining shop work experience in a high precision manufacturing environment
• High degree of organization with excellent attention to detail and a critical thinking mindset
• Demonstrated experience performing quality audits and generating detailed compliance reports
• Strong background in root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive action deployment
• Proven ability to manage, coach, and evaluate the performance of quality personnel

Nice to Haves

• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in engineering or a related technical discipline
• Deep understanding of ISO 9001 quality management systems and certification upkeep
• Background with government/military quality program knowledge/experience
• Familiarity with multi process manufacturing environments including precision machining, welding, and mechanical assembly
• Prior experience managing high volume production quality systems
