Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in quality management, engineering, or related field.
• Professional certifications (e.g., CQM) highly desired.
• 5+ years in manufacturing, engineering, quality, or continuous improvement.
• Experience creating quality documents and reports.
• Ability to read blueprints and part drawings.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement QMS across the company.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of quality control measures and production processes.
• Perform visual and mechanical inspections of product and raw materials.
• Adhere to specifications and drawings using measuring equipment.
• Audit company processes and support RMA with production management.
• Investigate customer complaints and implement corrective actions.
• Verify corrective actions to maintain high outgoing quality.
• Design and deliver training on quality standards.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing and supply chain to address issues.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure quality requirements.

Hiniker is known for sturdy cultivators, efficient shredders, and niche equipment such as the cover crop seeder and NH3 monitors.

In 1995, Hiniker branched into designing and manufacturing snow removal equipment, which is a trusted tool for many. Hiniker snow and ice equipment is built to enable the operator to work as efficiently as possible. We do this with innovative and purpose-built designs like the Hiniker C-Plow and the Hiniker Scoop Plow. We also manufacture a line of spreaders and skid steer plows. In 2024, we expanded our offerings with the acquisition of Daniels Plows, further strengthening our commitment to high-quality snow removal solutions.

We are currently seeking a Quality Manager. In this role, the Quality Managerwill oversee and ensure the Company’s products consistently meet quality standards, implement quality management systems (QMS), conduct audits, and lead the organization’s continuous improvement initiatives. The Quality Manageris in a strategic and hands-on role that will work to foster a culture of continuous improvement throughout the company and ensure that quality objectives are aligned with corporate goals

This position is an onsite and located at the facility in Mankato, MN.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement quality management systems (QMS), processes, and procedures across the company.
• Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of quality control measures and production processes.
• Perform visual and mechanical inspection/audits of product and raw materials.
• Adhere to established procedure, specification and/or drawings by using measuring equipment (i.e. caliper, micrometer, tape, height gage et al).
• Performs audit to company processes to ensure correct/accurate documentation and execution.Work with production management to support the Return Material Authorization (RMA) process.
• Investigate customer complaints and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.Assist in the resolution of product related issue(s) by identifying the root cause.
• Verify appropriate corrective action is determined and implemented to assure a high level of outgoing quality is maintained.
• Perform investigation oversight and implement resolution(s) of technical or quality issue(s).
• Design and deliver training programs for staff on quality standards and best practices.
• Work closely with manufacturing personnel to achieve continuous quality improvement practices.Advise and train production teams on quality control impacts on final products.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to promptly address quality issues.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure materials and services meet quality requirements.
• Maintaining quality records and preparing reports on quality performance for senior management.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in quality management, Engineering, or a related field.Professional certifications such as Certified Quality Manager (CQM) or equivalent is highly desired.Quality report creation/writing experience is a must
• Experience creating quality documents and reports and quality manual documentation.
• 5+ years’ experience in manufacturing, engineering, quality or continuous improvement.
