Job summary

Land O’Frost is seeking a Quality Manager to lead the Quality Management System and food safety programs in a dynamic food manufacturing environment. You will partner with plant leadership and cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and ensure SQF and regulatory compliance, delivering high-quality products that meet customer expectations.

As a leader in quality, you will manage internal and external audits, leverage VOC data, and coach teams to strengthen capabilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Quality or Food Safety within food manufacturing.
• Experience in meat or protein production is strongly preferred.
• Preferred fields include Food Science, Biology, Quality Management, Meat Science, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all components of the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure SQF, customer and regulatory compliance.
• Establish, maintain and leverage internal audit programs to verify SQF, MOPs, SOPs and other standards.
• Oversee third-party and regulatory audits with plant leadership to ensure successful outcomes.
• Drive process improvements with plant leadership to support metrics including Cost of Quality.
• Identify and mitigate product and process risks via root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Utilize VOC data to refine product quality and communicate insights to operations.
• Provide leadership, coaching and mentorship to quality and technical teams.
• Develop team capability across quality competencies and support career growth.
• Facilitate training to ensure employees understand role impact on food safety and quality.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to drive alignment and meet organizational objectives.
• Support stakeholders through data analysis, project leadership and technical expertise.

How YOU will Contribute

• Lead and manage all components of the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with SQF, customer, and regulatory requirements.

About YOU
