Job summary

Dickerson & Bowen Company is seeking a senior Quality Manager to coordinate QM functions for aggregate and hot mix asphalt production. You will oversee QC programs, provide technical support, and drive process improvements to meet Granite Construction standards.

The role requires engineering education with extensive QC/QA expertise, with a focus on lab testing, mix design, audits, and safety compliance. Travel and leadership responsibilities are included.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering is preferred; equivalent work experience may be considered.
• 10 years of experience in construction and construction materials, or 25 years of technical/managerial experience.
• Expert knowledge of quality management concepts and audit procedures.
• Extensive knowledge of aggregate processing and HMA quality control.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in development and implementation of QM initiatives to ensure quality standards.
• Direct and manage all QC activities for aggregate and HMA facilities including lab testing and mix design validation.
• Provide technical support to QM managers and operations to resolve challenges and transfer knowledge.
• Perform QM audits and assist with quality budgets and forecasts to improve financial performance.
