Job summary

Ferrousouth in Iuka, MS is seeking a Quality Manager to lead our quality systems, ensure compliance, and drive continuous improvement across operations.

You will own audits, document quality metrics, coordinate corrective actions, and partner with teams to maintain customer approvals and quality performance.

Qualifications

• Five years of progressive automotive quality system and customer quality systems experience.
• Extensive knowledge of AS9100 and ISO9001 requirements.
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain local quality program components related to data analysis, systems evaluations, and product assessment.
• Document quality issues and performance measures for leadership review.
• Recommend new methods and processes to improve quality.
• Perform audits and evaluation of workflow, work methods, and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
• Maintain the Quality Process / Quality System at assigned sites.
• Act as local quality representative and provide support for compliance audits.
• Serve as a quality resource during internal audits of IFTA and ISO.
• Respond to customer quality problems and audits.
• Maintain customer approvals for the location and implement requirements.
• Facilitate problem solving, corrective action, and quality initiatives; communicate findings to internal and external customers.
• Maintain records and reports on the status of the Quality Process for all departments and locations.
• Ensure employees receive required quality or other training as assigned.
• Provide product technical and product quality control support.
• Conduct new hire Quality Onboard Training
• Additional duties assigned as needed by Operations Manager
• Maintain customer inventory levels and audit inventory.
• Process work orders as requested by customers; communicate daily with customers; enter part numbers into software; create shipments as requested.
• General office and warehouse environment, PC use.
• Knowledge of Salesforce and Star a plus.
