Job summary

A well-established manufacturing business is seeking a Quality Manager to lead and develop the quality function across a growing production operation. You will own both QA and QC, working closely with operations, production, and leadership to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Lead and develop quality systems, drive QC initiatives, and manage non-conformances, CAPA investigations, and audits.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing quality experience in industrial environments.
• Experience leading QA and/or QC teams.
• Strong understanding of ISO 9001 quality systems.
• Experience conducting audits and CAPA investigations.
• Hands-on approach with production teams.
• Previous supervisory or management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the site's quality management systems and quality processes
• Drive Quality Control initiatives across raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods
• Manage non-conformance investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
• Oversee internal and external audits and ensure compliance with ISO9001 standards
• Support supplier quality initiatives, vendor audits, and quality improvement programs
• Develop and mentor quality, laboratory, and inspection personnel
• Partner with production and engineering teams to improve product quality and manufacturing performance
• Monitor quality KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives

This is an excellent opportunity for a quality professional looking to take ownership of both Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities while working closely with operations, production, and leadership teams to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the site's quality management systems and quality processes
• Drive Quality Control initiatives across raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods
• Manage non-conformance investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
• Oversee internal and external audits and ensure compliance with ISO9001 standards
• Support supplier quality initiatives, vendor audits, and quality improvement programs

Requirements

• Manufacturing quality experience within industrial, chemical, plastics, materials, metals, pipe, or related production environments
• Experience leading Quality Assurance and/or Quality Control teams
• Strong understanding of ISO9001 quality systems
• Experience conducting audits, CAPA investigations, and root cause analysis
• Hands-on approach with the ability to work closely with production teams
• Previous supervisory or management experience

Preferred Experience

• Chemical, materials, engineering, or technical manufacturing background
• Experience within process manufacturing or industrial production environments
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are highly desirable
