Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Quality Manager to join our Engineering team. This role ensures the quality of our products and services by developing, implementing, and maintaining our quality management systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, with a deep understanding of quality control procedures and protocols.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quality management systems in accordance with the company's objectives
  • Lead and manage the APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) process
  • Conduct FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis) to anticipate potential problems and prevent their occurrence
  • Handle PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) submissions and ensure all elements are met as per customer requirements
  • Manage Document Control, ensuring all procedures, work instructions, and forms are controlled and updated
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to solve quality issues
  • Train and guide staff on quality control and compliance procedures
  • Monitor quality performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports
  • Interact with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve quality-related issues
  • Continually improve the effectiveness of the quality management system through periodic reviews and improvements
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Quality Management role within the Engineering industry
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems and standards
  • Proven experience with PPAP, APQP, Corrective Actions, Document Control, FMEA, and Root Cause Analysis
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software
  • Certification in Quality Management or related field would be a plus
