Jet Support Services, Inc. (JSSI) is seeking a Quality Manager for its JPE operation in Erlanger, KY. The role drives AS9120/ASA-100 certifications, oversees audits, and leads the self-audit program to ensure superior warehouse quality.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to standards across all business units.
• Ensure operational quality of warehouse processes and packaging; coordinate with warehouse team.
• Serve as on-site warehouse quality expert and train staff on inspections.

The JSSI Parts & Engines (JPE) Quality Manager is responsible for all aspects of JPE’s quality, including 3rd party certifications, operational, and customer quality. This position will be based in JPE’s warehouse in Erlanger, KY, outside CVG airport.

Essentials Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead JPE to 3rd party AS9120 certification, and maintain JPE’s AS9120 and ASA-100 certification by coordinating and leading on-site and virtual audits.
• Oversee self-audit program, scheduling and following up on self-audits
• Maintain JPE’s corrective action process, including issuing corrective actions, escalating lack of response, ensure effectiveness of actions, and performing follow up reviews.
• Maintain JPE’s procedures- schedule periodic reviews of procedures, review/approve all quality procedures, track training/change management of new/updated procedures, and maintain database of procedures.
• Manage customer returns process:
• Review customer returns for trends and issue corrective actions as required.
• Ensure proper tracking for customer returns.
• As required, issue credits to customers after review.
• Monitor vendor quality performance, both inbound and landed customer quality. Perform on-site vendor audits as required.
• Ensure adherence to standards across all of JPE’s business units.
• Ensure operational quality of all warehouse processes, including paperwork, visual inspection, and packaging. Track problems and address using corrective actions in tandem with warehouse team.
• Serve as on-site expert for warehouse quality – train staff to recognize defects, answering questions about certifications, trace, part conditions, visual inspections, or whatever else may arise.
• Coach warehouse team in improving inspection processes.

For this role, the annual base pay generally ranges from $130,00 to $145,000, with the final offer determined by variable factors including but not limited to market location, job-specific knowledge, skills, education, and experience. In addition, your total rewards package may include an annual discretionary bonus plan, incentive or sales bonus plan, or other form of additional compensation, based on your role.
