NYC Public Schools is seeking a Quality Management Specialist within the Division of Early Childhood Education to coordinate communications and provide analytics support for program quality.
The role includes training staff, conducting audits, and developing coaching tools for Birth-Five programs while ensuring compliance with federal and local regulations.
The Division of Early Childhood Education (DECE) supports the operational and programmatic functions of early childhood education programs for NYC children in elementary schools, Pre-K Centers, and New York City Public Schools (NYCPS) contracted settings included in Community Based Organizations (CBO), through Family Child Care (FCC) and federally funded Head Start programs. DECE provides families with access to high quality, inclusive early childhood programs for children birth to five, in rich diverse settings, supporting children’s growth and development. Working together with families and programs, DECE ensures that children are engaged, nurtured, and supported.
The Quality Management Specialist coordinates internal and external communication efforts, provides management and support for operational and logistical tasks, supports compliance analytics and data management work and provides training and support to relevant Strategy and Policy team staff on a continuous basis.
