Job summary

Colonial Group seeks a quality leader to design, implement, and govern a robust Quality Management System across multiple sites. You will drive continuous improvement, manage a quality team, and partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Suppliers to elevate product and process quality.

You will own risk management, CAPA effectiveness, and performance metrics, with accountability for budget, staffing, and timely reporting to senior leadership. Travel for short-term implementations is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of management experience leading quality teams.
• Extensive experience with formal QMS (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100, ISO 13485) and risk/ CAPA management.
• Proven track record in root cause analysis and data-driven problem solving.
• Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and governance of the QMS across manufacturing and fulfillment operations.
• Develop and manage annual quality improvement plans with milestones and KPIs.
• Own QMS governance, process standards, documentation control, and management reviews.
• Identify quality gaps via data analysis and drive corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
• Monitor quality metrics, supplier quality, and customer impact; report progress to leadership.
• Mentor and coach direct and matrixed reports and participate in hiring processes.
• Manage budgets and staffing to meet business and financial objectives.
